IAA Leadership Awards 2021: Celebrating Unprecedented Leadership

24th September, Mumbai – The 8th edition of the IAA Leadership Awards, held at Taj Lands End, Mumbai, brought together industry stalwarts to honour excellence in business, marketing, media, and advertising. ZEE was the presenting partner, Good News Today (GNT) the powered-by partner, and Viacom18 the associate partner.

Chief Guest, His Excellency Governor of Maharashtra, Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari, lauded the audience, saying, “You are all anant—limitless—with no end, no vinash.”

Dr R.S. Sodhi, MD, Amul, was honoured as Business Leader of the Year, recognizing his pivotal role in shaping modern marketing and advertising practices. Speaking at the event, he stressed the importance of creativity and regional relevance in today’s competitive landscape.

Raj Nayak was inducted into the IAA Hall of Fame for his lifetime contributions to the marcom industry and leadership within IAA India.

IAA President Megha Tata remarked, “These unprecedented times call for unprecedented leadership. Our winners tonight exemplify just that.”
Co-Chair Nandini Dias added, “Leadership isn’t a skill or science. It’s about taking the first step in uncharted territory—defining your own rules and limits.”
