IAA Retrospect & Prospects: Coca-Cola’s Venkatesh Kini Shares Industry Insights in Mumbai.

Coca-Cola has been around for 128 years, and if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that advertising and marketing truly work,” said Venkatesh Kini, President, India & South West Asia, Coca-Cola, as he presented the annual review of marketing, advertising, and media for 2014–15 at the IAA Retrospect & Prospects event in Mumbai.

Mr. Kini shared a personal insight, noting that it was only when he transitioned into general management that he realized the world doesn’t revolve solely around marketing. He emphasized the vital role consumers have played in shaping what Coca-Cola is today.

The event, presented by NewsX and 92.7 Big FM, brought together over 100 professionals from across the marketing, advertising, and media industries.
