In the next edition of IAA Conversations, author and journalist Shankkar Aiyar spoke with Dr Subhash Chandra, chairman, ZEEL and Essel Group on 'News Neutrality’ was held on 13^th Oct 2015 at Mumbai.

 The conversation covered domestic news media ownership issues, separating news and opinion, and corrupt media practices, under the overarching theme of 'News Neutrality'. 

 Dr Chandra said“We, as news broadcasters, are in the business of giving information and not directing someone on what is right and what is wrong. According to me, Neutrality means showing or sharing information the way it is and not refining or transforming it as per the needs and demands. The primary aim of news channels is to be an informer and not a transformer.”

Dr Chandra’s address was insightful and enthralled the audiences.
