Dear Friends,
It is with immense pride and humility that I take up the role of President of the IAA. I am overwhelmed by the honor, and I am reminded of the ancient wisdom that I can see further because I stand on the shoulders of giants. I must first thank the outgoing President for transforming the IAA into such a vibrant institution. This strong foundation will ease my path while also challenging me to be more innovative and enterprising to match the high standards set by my predecessors. During my term, I would like the IAA to focus on three priorities that are critical for India and resonate deeply with the future we aspire to build:
- Skill Development:
In a world reshaped by rapid change and unexpected challenges, India’s growth and resilience will hinge on equipping its people with the right skills. We must empower our workforce to meet the demands of evolving industries and contribute meaningfully to nation-building. Education must align with real-world needs, preparing individuals to thrive in a competitive global economy.
- Artificial Intelligence:
AI is not just a tool—it is the transformative force shaping tomorrow. While it may disrupt traditional job markets, it holds the potential to unlock unprecedented productivity and create new opportunities. IAA must champion the adoption and understanding of AI to help India emerge as a leader in this domain and ensure its benefits are accessible to all.
- Global Thought Leadership:
To broaden perspectives and inspire action, we will invite some of the world’s most acclaimed thinkers to share their vision. By fostering dialogue and learning from global leaders, we can sharpen our strategies and reinforce India’s position as a thought leader on the global stage. These three priorities—Skill Development, AI, and Global Thought Leadership —will guide us in crafting a future that is innovative, inclusive, and impactful. Together, let’s make a difference in every little thing we set out to do.
